This episode we are honored to have Dr. David Alleman is our guest. He is a founder of biomimetic dentistry with over 42 years of experience in dentistry. Dr. Alleman has spent over eleven years pioneering the development of noninvasive dental procedures which conserve teeth. He has condensed over 1,400 research articles into his educational program which teaches techniques and alternatives to full coverage crowns. Dr. Alleman has been using biomimetic procedures in his practice for more than 20 years.

Host Kira Dineen chats with Dr. Nate Lawson providing advice for dental students and new dentists. 

Dr. Nate Lawson is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Biomaterials at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is also a co-founder of DentinalTube.com, a resource to help dental students and professionals learn about dental concepts, procedures, and materials.  

Dr. Lawson completed his DMD at the UAB School of Dentistry and his MS and PhD in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at UAB. Following graduation, he worked in private practice in Alabama and Illinois. He is passionate about testing new materials and techniques in the laboratory and applying the results to clinical dentistry.
